VISION JASMINE WALK AND BBQ

On April 9th, join your community in celebrating the Jasmine community, with myself the Mayor and other community leaders!

The event starts at 1 p.m. with a march leaving from Lester B. Pearson to Gloucester High.

The march will end with a barbecue and community celebration, outlining how far Jasmine has come in the past year.

Meet your neighbours and those offering services in the community and sign up to build the Jasmine of the future!

WHEN: Sunday April 9th, 2017 at 1 p.m. (Meet at 12:45)
WHERE: Lester B. Pearson High (march to Gloucester High for 1:30, where hotdogs will be served)

The tickets will be available at the Celebrate Summer booth inside Gloucester High School following the Jasmine march.
 
The Celebrate Summer fair will take place this year on June 23rd and 24th.

Clean up the Capital!

One of our favourite volunteers has moved out of Beacon Hill (Shannon, come back!), and will no longer be organizing Clean Up the Capital for us. She has, however, offered to help and guide a new person!

So….

If anyone would like a once a year, low-commitment, volunteer position, please let us know!

If you are interested, please reply to this email and we’ll begin planning our Clean up the Capital.

Big Beacon Hill Garage Sale!

Once again, your Beacon Hill Community association will be holding the Big Beacon Hill Garage Sale, where you can sell your old stuff, find some bargains, and then take part in the City of Ottawa’s Giveaway Day. Join Capital United Summer Youth Development Program – May 13th to Sept 2nd!

2 sessions / week for Ages 6-11 at $190 ** 1 session / week for Ages 4-5 at $130.

Experienced Coaching under the direction of National B Licensed Club Head Coach, Raz El-Asmar.

Learn the essential skills and aptitudes that allow young players to build a lifelong enjoyment of soccer at the Rec, Comp and Elite Levels. 

*Register by March 31st and receive additional Training sessions during the month of April at no additional cost!
