We Need Some Help With a Flyer Drop
Over the course of the next few weeks, your Beacon Hill Community Association will be delivering flyers door to door. If you think you could spare an hour or two to lend a hand walking around your street dropping them off, it would be a tremendous help to us. As well, if you’re a student who is lacking volunteer hours, we can help before the end of the school year. To volunteer, please send an email to email@example.com
Picnic in the Park and Fireworks Show
One of your BHCA’s annual events is growing! Every Canada Day, your BHCA puts on a Picnic in the Park in the Eastvale park (off of Radford Court). As well, beginning last year, we help a local pyrotechnician, Yves, put on an unbelievable fireworks display that bests the one on the Hill (plus it has better parking, smaller crowds, 5 minutes from home, basically a million times better). Both of these events, while free to everyone, do requrie a small amount of money from your Community Association to put on. If you would like to help us out, please join the BHCA as a member. The cost is $10/year and every penny of that goes to helping us help you and your community. [CLICK HERE]
for more information.
Wiki Coming Soon
Shortly the BHCA will be launching a Wiki. It will work exactly the same way Wikipedia works, but will encompass all things Beacon Hill. Let us know if you have any ideas as to what you would like to see in the wiki, and what types of contribution you can make. email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Balloon Map Our Neighbourhood
If anyone would like to try this, let us know and we will follow your progress, publish your photos on BHCA.ca. We just thought it was a neat idea.
