An increasing list of cars have been broken in to.
Recently a large number of automobiles have been broken in to, and items have been stolen. The thieves have been checking for unlocked car doors, and if they find one, go for anything that is easy to steal. This not only means loose change and sunglasses, but cell phones and other electronics. Four of this type of break-in have been reported to the Beacon HIll Community Association (we referred them to the Police) – We can only imagine how many have actually happened. One resident says they witnessed 2 teenager-size males approach their cars and check the handles, then moved on. This happened around 11:30PM.
We ask that every resident:
Please remember to lock your car doors, especially at night
Report every break-in / theft to the police
Report suspicious activity to the police
If your teenager suddenly has extra cash, electronics, or a new iPhone, you can return the stolen items to your Beacon Hill Community Association and we will try to return them to their owners
Thank you for your support and vigilence in keeping these thieves at bay.
