November 2016 – B

Sorry about that!

You may have noticed the last newsletter was a bit…unpolished. That was purely a slip of the finger sending out the draft, not the final. The Hydro article was only supposed to include the notice of work, and the following article was missed completely:

Community Garden Projects

With a few volunteers ready to start the work now, two Community Gardens would see the light in of our neighbourhood.

Where?
The gardens would be located
– near the North Gloucester Branch of Ottawa Public Library (Spring 2017)
– in Jasmine Park (Spring 2018)

Find out how you can make a difference:
Register and attend a workshop on how to start a community garden.
ON: November 24, 6 pm
AT: North Gloucester Branch of OPL, 2036 Ogilvie Road
Register: at BiblioOttawaLibrary.ca

Fun Stuff

Speaking of email mistakes:

NEVER use ‘Reply All’. Here’s why:

[National Health Service]’s IT [body] sends test email to 850k users – and then responses are sent ‘reply all’
That’s about 1 per cent of the entire UK population
